Davide Ravotti

I am a fourth year Ph.D. student at the School of Mathematics of the University of Bristol, member of the Dynamical Systems and Ergodic Theory Group. My supervisor is Prof. Corinna Ulcigrai.
Here you can find my CV.

Before starting my Ph.D., I have studied some aspects of Algebraic Logic related to Equidistribution Theory.
At the moment, I am interested in dynamical and ergodic properties of some classes of flows, namely locally Hamiltonian flows on compact surfaces, time-changes of nilflows and perturbations of unipotent flows in semisimple Lie groups.

Publications and preprints

  1. Parabolic perturbations of unipotent flows on compact quotients of SL(3,R), preprint arXiv:1711.04821, 2017.
  2. Mixing for suspension flows over skew-translations and time-changes of filiform nilflows, preprint arXiv:1706.09385, 2017.
  3. Quantitative mixing for locally Hamiltonian flows with saddle loops on compact surfaces, Annales Henri Poincaré, 18(12):3815-3861, 2017.
  4. Measures induced by units, (joint paper with Giovanni Panti), Journal of Symbolic Logic, 78(3):886-910, 2013.
